Citric acid is a weak organic acid that occurs naturally. It is used as an antimicrobial and preservative to help with pH balance and extending shelf life.
Chamomile
Chamomile is a daisy-like plant from the Asteraceae family. It is known for its calming properties and has been used both topically and orally for centuries.
Dimethicone
Dimethicone is a silicone-based polymer, a type of synthetic ingredient commonly used in skincare and cosmetics. It functions as an emollient, creating a protective barrier on the skin’s surface that helps to retain moisture and protect against environmental irritants. Dimethicone is approved by the FDA for use as a skin protectant.
Essential Oils
Essential oils are concentrated, aromatic liquids extracted from plants. They are obtained through the distillation or mechanical pressing of various plant parts such as leaves, flowers, bark, roots and seeds.
Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus oil is a fragrant essential oil derived from the leaves of eucalyptus trees. Our products use safe dilutions of Eucalyptus radiata oil (which is a different species than the commonly-found Eucalyptus globulus) proven safe and gentle for children and infants under the age of two years old.
Preservatives
Preservatives are widely used in baby, children and adult products to preserve shelf life. Without preservatives, products can expire or grow bacteria within a few weeks or even days. Our products only include preservatives when absolutely necessary for product efficacy, and we only use ones proven safe for your family.
Sodium Benzoate
Sodium benzoate is a commonly-used preservative that inhibits the growth of microorganisms like bacteria, yeast and mold — preventing spoilage and extending shelf life.
Vitamin E
Tocopheryl acetate, also known as vitamin E acetate, is a synthetic form of vitamin E known for its antioxidant properties to help protect skin from free radical damage.
Zinc Oxide
Zinc oxide is a white, powdery, inorganic compound with the chemical formula ZnO. It is widely used in creams, ointments and pastes to treat and prevent diaper rash, minor burns, cuts and other skin irritations and is FDA approved for effective treatment of diaper rash.
